Time to move on

Sit back and think about this, it’s really is quite simple, the GOP has lost the last 6 of the last presidential elections, their last sitting president was so horrendous they would like to forget those years but cant and he is probably the most disliked president in American history and will go down as so. Obama is a popular president and the GOP have to knock him down and will do so even to the fact of making things up and creating scandals to do so. They have to, the economy is getting better, housing market coming back, job numbers improving, his policies are working and they know it. Obama and the Dems have had little to no help from the GOP, so in order to try and be a viable party the GOP have to bring Obama down, that is the only path they have left to be viable. Kind a sad when you really think about it, The GOP is currently where the Dems were in the early 80's and until they figure that out they will continue down this path of nonsense simply because this is all they have left from a dying ideology. No the GOP is not a dead party but they have a dead ideology.  The GOP will restructure itself without the craziness we see in today s GOP, it is called elections and the GOP voters will tire of this bull crap and start voting those people out of office.  It’s coming trust me because as I said the GOP as the Dems were in the early 80's have to move on.

Interesting

I was part of an interesting conversation this weekend with some family members. Well I actually just listened simply for the fact I have learned with “Conservatives” if  you say anything against their beliefs they get hostile and I learned a long time ago with these family members to not say anything and let them go and sit quietly in amazement on what they have to say.

So the conversation started of course with the usual, bash Obama and “liberals” for making the country a bad place to live and its “liberals fault” for all the problems the country is facing yadda yadda yadda. But when this phase was over they moved in to the part I always find amusing. I always find it amusing when I hear conservatives my age talk about pensions and how they have disappeared and how they won’t or may not have the money to retire when they need it and so forth, and I find it amazing to think that you must not be paying attention to the law makers your electing because one of the most fought over items for conservatives for the past 30 years is getting rid of pension’s and how business should not have to pay them even in the face of it being owed to their employees. The “Conservative” movement was about taking care of yourself and no hand outs.

And the most amusing thing I also find with their complaint from this group is how they either are currently working for the government, just starting in the government or retired from the government. It is just amazing that they want to complain about “liberals” and think the “conservative” ideology is the way to go. I guess when you have let the conservative media tell you that the “liberals” are out to get you and get you focused on other nonsense items, you fail to realize that you may just be voting against your own interest.

Would you like so cheese with that whine

OK I have come to the conclusion that the one thing “conservatives” have going for them, is their uncanny ability to whine. They have gotten to be so good at this political whine that they can at times get the media to focus on the subject they are currently whining about.  It must come from their child hood and I would bet that they were the kids who wanted to play with YOUR toys and claim them as their own and would not want to share even in the smallest amount. Most people grow out of this but the sad thing is, seems “conservatives” get stuck in this mode. And this ties in to their Daddy complex they all seem to have, seems a lot of them may not have grown up emotionally at all or very little any ways.

Isn't it quite amazing how they can all whine in unison, I have “conservative” friends here in Albuquerque and some in Texas, miles away from each other and no clue that the other exist, but ill be damned they have the same whine about the exact same thing at the exact same time, to have a whining network is well just amazing. Kinda changes the perspective of “conservative” radio does it not? I mean to these groups to whine in unison they have to have a central base somewhere telling them the Whine D’jour.

I suspect in the near future you will hear them whine about why the rest of the country is not being tuned in to their D’jour and this time it is going to be hard for them to blame the “Liberal Media” for the lack of enthusiasm for their Whine D’jour.

Care for some cheese?

Kidding right?

Alex Jones you have to kidding right ? you cant be serious.

Nice Blog Entry

Dear Conservative Land (which includes Fox News, conservative talk radio, Congressional Republicans, and Republican rank-and-file voters),

I hate to say it, but you were asking for it. I know we on the left are always telling you guys how wrong it is to even imply that rape victims were “asking for it,” but that’s because you are all a bunch of un-evolved sociopaths who have no sympathy for anyone but yourselves. However, in this case, when it comes to all the “scandals” swirling around Obama, scandals that by the way haven’t had an impact on Obama’s approval ratings, you were indeed asking for it.

Obama care vote again!!!!!!!

So once again the house of reps is wasting time on a vote that will not pass, what a major waste of time and money!!!!!!!  Boehner should be held accountable for this nonsense, and waste of tax payer dollars and time. Mister Boehner do your job please. You are the shining example of government tax dollar waste.

501 (c) 4

So with the smallest amount of research and as I predicted the  whole story coming out, seems the “tea party” groups complaining actually have nothing to complain about. Simply for the reason they did get their status.  But the complaining may actually bring more about than they planned and they could actually have once again shot themselves in the foot. From a simple Google on the tax status of 501 (c) 4 this statue  is very clear and from reading it I don’t see how a political group fits into any of this. Especially the Social Welfare status they signed under. We as a nation should now demand a complete investigation in to this and make sure organizations such as the Heritage Foundation, Cross Roads, Americans for Prosperity who are all filed under this tax status are what they say they are and not a political  organization, and well we know that answer don’t we. I don’t have a problem with being tax exempt if it is legitimate but I don’t see how a group who want no taxes can be considered a social welfare group. So Once again we are waiting to see what really happened and as I said we as a nation now should demand that political groups follow the extent of the law, and clearly this does not.

This is two parts of the sky is falling by cants, one more to go and it does look like the AP story is going to be just that.  Voters should take notice and vote these people out of office in 2014 we will see wont we.

Brat Factor

Since President Obama  was elected President,  we have seen the GOP go in to complete Brat factor and with the current “scandals” going on we are seeing the brat factor in full force. But reality we all know the GOP and “conservatives” politically are emotional animals and they tend to let their emotions or “gut instinct”  rule their ideology instead of fact and logic.

So with this if this turns out to be another “the sky is falling” moment for the GOP, then we as a nation should vote them completely out of office and they should be left to wander in the political desert for a very very long time. Trust me I know how bad it looks and if Obama is responsible then he should be held accountable, but if there is nothing there then we as a nation should hold the GOP responsible for a waste of time and money and vote them out of office and let them stew on that for a while.

Let’s face it , the GOP is currently having a hey day with all of this without thinking of the consequences that could and probably will come down the road. Let them have their fun, but when it’s all said and done and this does turn out to be a “The sky is falling”  moment, then we as a nation should do with them what a lot of grown up’s do with a brat.

Benghazi, Phone Records and the IRS

Wow seems we are defiantly seeing some crazy stuff coming out this week and seem’s the first question that needs to be asked is if there were any law broken and sorry to say but the initial reports say no. Did some line get crossed yes looks like it, but do we have the full story yet not quite, so what do we do. Well I say instead of flying of the handle we should wait and see the reality of this. If the Obama admin did coordinate this then I say he should be impeached and the book should be thrown at him.

Benghazi, - well this story when you hear from the experts from both sides was a horrible thing, and should be investigated on the failures of the CIA and how we can in the future TRY to keep this from happening again, but when you look to history this will happen again it is bound to and WILL happen again I promise you. I feel the investigation should start with the cutting of the funds, and was this politically motivated or if  it was ideologically motivated, I bet the second one and it should be exposed that due to the funds being cut in order to keep Mitt Romney’s 13% tax rate we have four dead in Libya. This bull shit of wanting to know why Obama didn’t send troops is nonsense, and from the experts, military commanders have said multiple times they  would not have been able to get anyone or anything there in time to stop this.  The Diplomatic outpost that was attacked was just that and yes there was a video involved so stop fooling yourself in thinking there was not. I would bet before the ambassador and his guards were briefed before they went to Libya that there was a good chance they could be killed, they were after all in a war zone and I am sure as soldiers that go into a hostile area, write letters to their loved ones and had their wills in order before they even stepped foot inside Benghazi. And reality here we as a country have wasted millions on this with no new outcome maybe we should investigate why so much money is being wasted on this by Issa and his cohorts.

Phone Records and the AP– Well this one is scary since without a Press we may not know what our government is doing. But so little has come out and what has come out is “Phone Records” not Phone tapping as some suggest but records showing who called who. AS I said this is scary but the initial reports coming out show the DOJ followed protocol on this and got its ducks in a row, and with the press they have to very specific on what or who they are looking for. And if it is for a leak about a suspected terror suspect or event the GOP a few years back would have said this was justified simply because it was about a terrorist act. But reality is we don’t know enough about this “scandal” to be second guessing anything.

IRS – Well personally any one filling for tax exempt status for social well being tied to the tea party, I would check them as well, simply because with Bachman and so many other being caught red handed with their hands in the basket they should be investigated and especially if they are a lobby group lobbying our government, and they are requesting tax exempt status? Sounds fishy to me and I am sure that as more of this comes out it will smell fishy to others as well. And on a side note, the head of the IRS was a Bush appointee, maybe he should be investigated to see if he has ties with Rove, simply for the fact Rove hates the TEA PARTY and this could have been politically motivated but by someone with a different agenda, like winning elections and since we know Rove blames the tea party for the loses, it is def a place to look as well.

Bull Crap

Reality about Bengazi there were no laws broken even though the GOP think Obama should have been able to break the law of Physics to get the military to the Diplomatic outpost. there are no new facts no smoking guns and no orders coming from the white house and the military saying again for the umpteenth time they could not have responded in time to have done anything. these are the facts, so the GOP is now having to work on "talking points" and how they were released, are you f' ing serious  talking points!!!!!! all this wasted time and money on talking points!!!!!!  The GOP may have just shot themselves in the foot, and by the way what about wasteful government spending?  We need to investigate this to keep it from happening again, but to make this in a political foot ball as the GOP has is a shame on the GOP and the country see this for what it is, a political circus. no wonder the country does not like congress, instead of focusing on Jobs the GOP controlled house is focusing on BULL SHIT!!!!!!!!

Obama and the debt ceiling

I have been paying attention the past few weeks to this issue, and to tell the truth I don’t get it. from 1980 to today we have raised the debt ceiling over 30 times. We have people in congress who voted more than seven times to raise the ceiling and in fact some and I wont mention names voted eight times under Bush to raise the ceiling, so why the problem now?  In my view and this is my view, not some spin as some call it. I see it as the GOP doing every thing in their power to make sure Obama fails. I find it sad as an American that some would actually want to see the President and this country fail, simply for political gains, but this is the way  politics have become in our country, party first.

I remember a few years ago when Bush was President,  “conservatives” were screaming and demanding respect for the President and how it was unpatriotic to disagree with the President, especially in a time of war, remember those days? Well last time I checked we still have two wars going and soldiers in harms way.  I guess being unpatriotic only counts for Republican Presidents and only Republican Presidents. Because some of the same people that demanded this respect for Bush are now doing the exact thing they despised towards Obama. It would be nice to see just for once, that certain group actually trying to live to the standards that they demand of everyone else.

The debt ceiling will be raised and the bills will get paid you can bet on that. Obama said some stuff on Wed the 13 of July, that scared a lot of people, me included but I was thinking it’s bout time Obama grew a pair. In my view, maybe it is time to scare some people back to reality. To complain about entitlements when your getting entitlements makes no sense, and yes quite a few who are collecting SS, and receiving Medicare and Medicaid are part of the group complaining. And this group Obama probably scared the hell out of them and if this is what it takes to get people involved in the voting process to help them see they are voting against their own best interest. I know, I know some will say this is “fear mongering” but if this is what it takes for people to wake up then so be it.

I have one thing I like to tell “conservatives” when I debate them. they always say they want smaller government and to cut spending yadda yadda yadda, but when programs and services they use are on the chopping block they tend to get very upset. I always  like to say to them

“This is what you voted for, your supposed to be happy”

A new reality.

When I started this blog I do have to admit, I was a little, well no a lot one sided. But after a debate with a good friend of mine I came to realize I had become some what fanatic, and in fact had become like the right wing fanatics I so disliked. Listen, I do still think that we as a society can make things better for everyone, and no I’m not talking about hand outs but I am talking about making sure that if some one is on a string of bad luck or a child is born and needs a helping hand why don't we help them, what's the problem? We have become a nation of me and screw every one else. well this is going to be a reboot of this site, I still believe in we the people and I for one understand that we as a nation must move forward.

Your friggin kidding right.

By BEN EVANS, Associated Press Writer Ben Evans, Associated Press Writer – 35 mins ago

WASHINGTON – Leading Republicans are joining a push to reconsider the constitutional amendment that grants automatic citizenship to people born in the United States.

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky said Tuesday he supports holding hearings on the 14th Amendment right, although he emphasized that Washington's immigration focus should remain on border security.

His comments came as other Republicans in recent days have questioned or challenged birthright citizenship, embracing a cause that had largely been confined to the far right.

The senators include Arizona's John McCain, the party's 2008 presidential nominee; Arizona's Jon Kyl, the GOP whip; Alabama's Jeff Sessions, the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee, and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a leading negotiator on immigration legislation.

"I'm not sure exactly what the drafters of the (14th) amendment had in mind, but I doubt it was that somebody could fly in from Brazil and have a child and fly back home with that child, and that child is forever an American citizen," Sessions said.

"Requiring Arizona law enforcement officials and agencies to determine the immigration status of every person that is arrested burdens lawfully present aliens because their LIBERTY will be restricted while their status is checked"........ U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton

Nuff, said.

Arizona

Hmm seems we are seeing a mass exodus from AZ this week, and I am sure most "Conservatives" think this is wonderful. But here is the question for the people of AZ. Not only are the Illegals leaving AZ but so are Hispanics. And with day Laborers, grounds keepers, chamber maids, and janitors leaving AZ we should see a huge influx of jobs in AZ right? Who is going to fill them is the question.think the housing industry in AZ is bad now, wait till the cost go up four times, and the tourism industry? well you can pretty much end that one as well. One good thing about this is that all the low paying jobs in AZ are now going to be good paying jobs, so for those if you who think this is great , be ready to pay 300.00 for a mediocre golf course and around 500 for a decent hotel, and a sales tax that will blow your mind.

Wow 2

As I have said in the past seems  the cants are trying to re write history and well are not living in reality. If you read the following ideologue form a can’t friend of mine, you will see how for all the problems we have sustained under Conservative policies that cants are desperate to blame Liberals and progressives, forgetting that for the past 30 years cants have pretty much ruled the country. The problems we are seeing now with  our country all stem back to conservatives principles and Reganomics, but for your enjoyment and a laugh here is what cants are trying to convince themselves what happened.

Sena man

President Obama continued his scorched earth attack on Republicans, saying:

"And what the other side is offering is basically to go back to the same ideas that got us into this mess in the first place….They are peddling that same snake oil they have been peddling for years. They basically -- they spent a decade driving the economy into a ditch….This is a choice between the policies that led us into the mess, or the policies that are leading out of the mess." [Emphasis added.]

Well, let's see what got us into this mess in the first place.  The roots of the housing bubble and the financial crisis go back to the Clinton Administration, who with liberal Congressional Democrat allies like Barney Frank, gave birth to the subprime mortgage market as part of the liberal/left "affordable housing" policy. The Clinton Administration joined with the Obama allies at ACORN even back then to use the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) to pressure banks to break down traditional mortgage lending standards. Clinton's Justice Department and HUD added to the bonfire with discrimination lawsuits against banks that were reluctant to go along. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac got with the program to drop their standards as well to cycle trillions in subprime and substandard mortgage backed securities throughout the financial community in America and across the globe.

George Bush and the Republicans actually sought legislation to stop this developing danger and disgrace from 2002-2006. But they were shouted down by liberals including Barack Obama as racists who just didn't want minorities and the poor to enjoy home ownership. Barney Frank famously said at the time that he wanted to continue to roll the dice on these affordable housing policies, to the shame of his stupid constituents who keep voting for him.

Rather than acting to prevent this crisis from ever happening again, Obama has used the crisis from the start as a bait and switch excuse playing us to push America into the canyon of braindead, long outdated socialism. Instead of snake oil, Obama is hawking us his Grecian formula of magical stimulus beans and record shattering federal spending, deficits, and debt. Remember that was supposed to prevent unemployment from soaring to 8%. Instead we have suffered a year of unemployment around 10%, with Obama's pal Harry Reid telling us several months ago, "Today is a big day in America. Only 36,000 people lost their jobs today, which is really good."

Moreover, instead of ending Wall Street bailouts, the Reid/Obama financial reg reform bill institutionalizes federal authority for still more bailouts. Then next year comes chapter 2 in the Obama nightmare, with sweeping, across the board, tax rate increases on America's employers and investors. Even before that, the double dip recession already beckons. With the Reid/Obama/Pelosi federal deficit already at $1.6 trillion for this year, what will it be in the double dip, which will come next year if not this year.

A REPUBLICAN VOTE GETS YOU THIS:

1. The largest Medicare debt (2003 Medicare Plan D) est. $35 TRILLION, $35 TRILLION!
2. Doubled the national debt by giving the rich tax cuts from $5 Trillion to over $10 TRILLION
3. Started 2 wars, not funded
4. Emptied out the Social Security Trust Fund
5. Caused the collapse of the entire worlds financial system
6. Created T.A.R.P. to bailout Wall ST, $700 BILLION
7. Then handed the banks the 1st $350 BILLION with no strings attached
8. Lost more jobs than created

Wow

So here we have an article that is quite disturbing, and once again from an uninformed person. If the person responsible for this crap would have paid attn, they would have realized that the police officer in question shot a man, in the back at point blank while the man was handcuffed and on his stomach. The man shot was no threat and had been no threat. And I do repeat he shot a MAN, a human being, a person with a mother and a father and a family.

The Berkeley/Oakland area was on high alert last week...but not because of a natural disaster, like an earthquake.

A jury was deciding the fate of a white police officer charged with killing a black male at a BART station. People all around town began preparing for riots, certain that if the verdict was "not guilty," the streets would erupt with violence.

This is not the first time that riots have occurred relative to this incident. Mobs have already broken windows, looted stores, beat people up, and destroyed cars. The attitude then, as well as now, is that "we" have a right to riot.

Why? Why do certain groups have a right to riot? And why do others make excuses when livelihoods are ruined, millions of dollars are wasted, and innocents are hurt?

My opinion? Liberal racism.

A colleague said this to me the other day. "That police officer should be found guilty. But if he's not, they have every a right to riot."

She was simply expressing the typical liberal view. But let's pick this apart.

If thousands of Jews or Chinese or white males looted stores and burned cars, would the public be so tolerant? I don't think so. Are we really talking tolerance here, or something else entirely -- a colonialist, superior attitude?

Put bluntly, when liberals say that "they" have a right to riot, what's the implication here? Is it that blacks are primitive, out-of-control Neanderthals? Those Jews, Chinese, and white males are expected to have self-control. No such expectations exist for designated victim groups like blacks and Latinos.

By treating blacks as a special class, liberals marginalize and infantilize. Liberals also set the bar insultingly low.

Obama and his handlers knew that white liberal guilt could be exploited to their advantage. They realized that Obama would be insulated from scrutiny.

But it's not just guilt; it's also a white feeling of superiority. Because you have to see yourself as on top to offer special treatment to those on bottom.

Obama has been the Teflon President because of the color of his skin. Liberals are giving him a free ride.

We see it every day when criticism of Obama evokes cries of racism. But who are the real racists here?

Are the racists those conservatives who hold everyone accountable to the same standards? Who believe that people should be judged by their character and their behavior, not their race, creed, or color?

Or are the racists those white liberals who treat Obama like some delicate flower? While liberals still eviscerate George W. Bush, any judgment of Obama is off limits.

It's not just whites who are enabling Obama by acting like his protectors. Blacks voted en masse for Obama. Sadly, what has he offered them?

From the start, it was obvious that Obama, though half-black, had never done anything for the black community. In Chicago, his actions hurt blacks.

Obama was a huge supporter of Tony Rezko, a notorious slumlord, now a felon. When Obama served in the state senate, black residents picketed Rezko's offices to protest their rat-infested, unheated apartments.

And what has Obama done to help blacks since he's been president? One of Obama's first actions as president was eliminating the DC school voucher program that offered poor black kids the chance for a better life.

Obama and the Democrats have created record debt and crushed the economy. A depressed economy hits minority groups especially hard.

And then there is Obama's push for amnesty for illegals. How is giving jobs to millions of illegals going to help blacks, who have unconscionably high unemployment rates?

But there is one perk Obama has afforded the black underclass -- the right to behave brutally. Obama's Justice Department dropped charges for those New Black Panthers who allegedly threatened and harassed people at election sites.

This encouragement to act out is deeply cynical and manipulative. It's designed to control racial minorities and promote social unrest.

Although Obama has only agitated, not uplifted, Americans, most liberals regard him as their icon. To them, Obama is the Great Black Hope.

Liberals handle Obama with kid gloves. In the meantime, they turn a blind eye to his dangerous policies, like flirting with radical Islam. Liberals make excuses for the plummeting economy, blaming their usual bogeyman: conservatives.

They refuse to see Obama without the rose-colored glasses. Why? Because when it comes to Obama, liberals see a black man deserving of special treatment.

Will the real racist please stand up?
